Round a timestamp to the inferior integer

This function round a timestamp ()

format_timestamp(x)

Arguments

x

The timestamp. See detail section for more information.

Value

a POSIXct object with rounded double value.

Details

The accepted formats for the argument x are:

  • character objects;

  • Date objects;

  • numeric (integer or double);

  • date/times object (classes POSIXct and POSIXlt)
